It is perfect. My favorite line is when Colin Firth, or Jamie, is proposing in broken Portuguese and Aurelia answers him in broken English. "You learned English?" (Jamie) "Just in cases." So good, so true and extremely quotable (and not just talking about the obvious ones there)
I also really like Forces of Nature--doesn't hurt that it came out around the time of my Ben Affleck obsession phase (yum!) but it does have a good story underneath all of the "antics"Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05920256842347863670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4569924953275612240.post-29537004936569770792013-02-14T08:00:09.125-08:002013-02-14T08:00:09.125-08:00Not sure why really , but I have a soft spot for F...Not sure why really , but I have a soft spot for Fools Rush In with Selma Hayek and Matthew Perry and of course Dan in Real Life. One of my favorite lines of hers, from "Pretty Woman": "Why do guys always know how to hit a woman right across the cheek? Wham! And it feels like your eye is gonna explode. What do they do? Do they pull you aside in high school and show you how to do this?" I don't know why, I just love that moment. And Gere's response, "Not all guys hit."Vicky L. Z. It's just so funny. I think it's romantic that he rushes across a Zombified London to get to the girl who just dumped him. I mean, really. Not many dudes would do that! Its perfection as far as rom coms go. Gets pretty close to reality. I never get sick of it. I especially love the little "documentary" bits between scenes.
Also, Sleepless in Seattle, Shakespeare in Love, Say Anything, Sixteen Candles, Roman Holiday, The Princess Bride....
May be back later with more! The Wileyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07477999643571381087noreply@blogger.com
